Responsible production
MAC is highly conscious of its social and ecological responsibilities towards its employees, customers, partners and the environment. MAC recognises this responsibility particularly in relation to global textile production and sourcing. When selecting suppliers and contract partners, it is of the utmost importance to MAC that this social responsibility is recognised as such by all parties involved in the textile supply chain, and approached with the same principles.
A continuous process
The sustainability process is seen as a continuous path towards improvement, with an honest discussion of the issue, carried out within the framework of what is commercially reasonable.
Standards and principles
For MAC it is highly relevant that legal minimum standards and ethical principles are observed throughout the production of its trousers. MAC also attaches great importance to production that is set up to be as environmentally friendly as possible and unconditionally complies with environmental regulations. This also includes socially compatible conditions for employees, covering working hours, minimum age, wages and safety at work.
Made in Europe
MAC produces mainly in Europe, with manufacturers in Italy, Macedonia, Slovenia, Poland and Turkey. As is well known, European regulations strictly monitor that all of this happens in a responsible manner. Irresponsible production will therefore not occur in the making of MAC Jeans.
